Rev. Greg Ince, Senior Pastor
“The Lord truly works in marvelous ways in reaching a sinner with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I was first exposed to the Gospel in junior high school. However, four years passed before I confessed that I need a personal Savior. In October 1981, I surrendered my life to the Lord, and shortly thereafter, the Lord called me into the ministry. At this time, I was not sure where the Lord would use me, but my desire was to follow His leading for my life.
I am thankful that the Lord has given me the privilege of pastoring at Faith Baptist Church. In 1985, I became the Assistant Pastor. Twenty–four years later, in 2009, I became the Senior Pastor. My wife Judy and I count it a joy to be a part of Faith Baptist Church, where our desire is to exalt Jesus Christ as we worship Him. We are confident that the Lord will bless our church family as we put Him first in all that we do.”
Rev. Aaron Bryson, Assistant Pastor
“I thank the Lord that from an early age, I was taught the Word of God, which revealed that salvation comes through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I was privileged to grow up in a Christian home. When I was four years old, I trusted the Lord Jesus Christ for my salvation and was later baptized.
The Lord led me to Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, for my college education. During my freshman year, He placed on my heart the call to full-time ministry. While at BJU, the Lord led in my meeting Christa. We were married and began seeking the Lord’s will for our life together in His ministry.
The Lord gave me the opportunity of serving Him as youth leader in a small church in Simpsonville, South Carolina, before moving us on to join the fellowship of Faith Baptist Church in 2011. We are thankful to see the Lord’s guiding hand throughout the years and look forward to serving Him with the people of Faith Baptist Church as He leads.”
Dr. David Parker, Music Pastor
Dr. Parker has been continuously involved in music-ministry positions in fundamental churches since 1978. Although his primary employment has been in Christian higher education since 1985, David considers his personal church ministry involvement vitally important in knowing how to train the next generation of Christian musicians and in keeping himself grounded in exercising his gifts for the glory of God and the benefit of others.
David Parker received the Doctor of Musical Arts Degree from the University of Michigan in voice performance in 1986. He is currently on the voice faculty of Bob Jones University (36 years) where he teaches Private Voice, Diction for Singers, Vocal Pedagogy, Music Technology and Opera and Oratorio Literature.
David enjoys living in the country at his mountain home near Table Rock, South Carolina, and taking scenic rides with Linda, his wife and soul-mate, through the beautiful scenery of the Carolina countryside.
